For AR People is happy to announce our partnership with INTERFORM for their Model Citizen: Rally & Register event, on September 18th, 2022. This event will highlight information and opportunities involving voter registration and education, as well as open forum discussions centered on human rights.
Come see us on September 18th, 2022 from 2 PM to 6 PM at Shiloh Square in Downtown Springdale. Take part in an afternoon of educational interaction, open forum discussions, and voter registration.
What to expect:
● Booths from local organizations such as Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese, Bike.POC, CACHE, Hispanic Women’s Organization of Arkansas, KUAF Radio, League of Women Voters, Moms Demand Action, Partners for Better Housing, Positively Pro-Choice, Reimagine Arkansas, Salvadoran Consul, and Trailblazers.
● Panel discussions on the topics of affordable housing in Northwest Arkansas, pro-choice positions and abortion as healthcare, legislative wins in relationship to gun safety, and the Crown Act.
● Bike giveaway from Trailblazers and Bike.POC
● Creative activations from CACHE
